'Avengers' star officially releases first solo song after Luke Holland teaser

Jeremy Renner is best known as Hawkeye in the Avengers franchise, but yesterday it came out he’s exploring making music.

We reported yesterday that Renner was teasing a launch into the music world with former the Word Alive drummer Luke Holland, and now it’s official.

Last week, Holland took to Instagram revealing that he had shot something with the Hawkeye actor.

“Shot something incredible for @renner4real AKA Hawkeye yesterday. 13 hour day, this was taken at 3:30 am ? what an experience. Very glad I had @dmillsmusic @theangieswan @ericzayne on set!”

Then, Renner posted a teaser of him singing while playing the piano.

Now, he’s officially released his first solo music in “Heaven Don’t Have a Name.” Check it out in the player below.

This isn’t Renner’s first musical outing. In 2015, he sent the internet wild by covering Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” as with a Hawkeye twist.

You can also hear Renner’s vocals on the original version of Sam Feldt’s “Heaven Don’t Have a Name” which was released last fall.

If you haven’t checked it out already, you can also watch the music video for the track below.

Music isn’t a completely new venture for Marvel stars though. Before becoming an actor, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson had an album back in 2005 called Finally Out Of P.E.
