Avril Lavigne fires back at Mark Zuckerberg for Nickelback joke

Nickelback have had their fair share of jabs over the years, and the Canadian rock band have recently been the butt of a joke made by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

In a video revealing Jarvis, his latest piece of technology that syncs your house to your phone, Zuckerberg asked the server to “play us some good Nickelback songs.” Jarvis then responded with, “I’m sorry, Mark. I’m afraid I can’t do that. There are no good Nickelback songs.” To add insult to injury, Zuckerberg replied that it was a test for the server.

This joke didn't sit well with Avril Lavigne—who you may remember was married to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger.

The singer posted a note on Twitter asking Zuckerberg to think twice about promoting bullying and hashtagged #thejokeisold. Read her full note below:
