Everyone knows that Waterparks and Good Charlotte have nothing but love for each other, which is why we're still crying at how heartfelt Awsten's comments were on the Rock Sound podcast, talking about the Madden brothers.

“We wouldn't be here without the Maddens. I talk to them about everything and they help us with so much stuff. I feel like I wouldn't be right here if it wasn't for how cool they are,” said Knight.

Waterparks released their debut album, Double Dare, last November along with winning Best Breakthrough Artist at the 2017 APMAs, yet it's clear that the band is continuously looking to the future and how they can improve as a band, using Good Charlotte as a guide.

“I want what they have – working with people, doing writing for other people, doing their own stuff still. When [Good Charlotte] went and did a week on Warped Tour, they didn't do that because they needed it. They did it because they can do whatever they want. I want that.”

In one of the biggest pop-punk tour announcements of the fall, Waterparks announced their headlining Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Made In America, with the equally awesome As It Is, Chapel and Sleep On It added as support.
