As previously mentioned, they’re also headed to the U.S. They’ll be performing at the Forum in Los Angeles Oct. 11.

All this news comes after BABYMETAL announced they will be releasing a new album in 2019, a first since former member Yuimetal left the group last year.

The group currently comprises Su-metal and Moametal.

The metal group made the album announcement via social media for “Fox Day” or April 1. BABYMETAL have previously made announcements on the date, which has been largely discussed on Reddit.

The new album will be the follow-up to the groups last album, Metal Resistancefrom 2016.

Along with the album announcement, which didn’t specify a date, they announced a set of tour dates in Japan. The events will each take place over two nights, called “The Sun Also Rises” and “Beyond The Moon.”

Also last October, they dropped their graphic novel, Apocrypha: The Legend Of BABYMETAL.

As previously reported, the graphic novel explores the mythology of BABYMETAL by telling the story of the Fox God, an entity highlighted in the band’s music and performances. He takes the three protagonists on a journey in space and time, from prehistoric Kyoto to contemporary New York City, to defeat forces of darkness and division.
