BABYMETAL announce the founding of BABYMETAL RECORDS

It looks like BABYMETAL now have their own record label imprint. On Monday, the Japanese heavy metal idol band unveiled the formation of BABYMETAL RECORDS, a partnership between the group and 5B Artist Management.

“BABYMETAL has built a new partnership with 5B Artist Management and Records, a leading global music, events, and marketing firm, who manage well-known artists such as Slipknot and Megadeth,” the band said on social media.

Further details reveal the new record company is working with U.K.-based independent label Cooking Vinyl, presumably for manufacturing and distribution, as the band note the outfit's recent handling of reissues for “prestigious artists such as Marilyn Manson and the Prodigy.”
