Backtrack announce breakup, final world tour

After 11 years of rocking out, Long Island rockers Backtrack have announced they will be breaking up, but not before they go on one more world tour.

The band made the announcement on social media, and even changed their profile photo to some graffiti that says “Rip…BACKTRACK 2008-2019.”

We appreciate everyone who has shown this band love over the past 11 years,” the post reads. “Thanks to anyone who has supported us along the way and we look forward to seeing you one last time.”

The tour will make stops in North America, Asia and Australia throughout the summer and fall. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. here. They will eventually also be doing final shows in Europe in November, but those have yet to be announced to the public.
