Bad Suns have released their fourth studio album Apocalypse Whenever. They will also begin their U.S. headlining tour tonight (Jan. 28).

According to a press release, the album was conceived as “the soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t yet exist.” Apocalypse Whenever tells a story of a protagonist as they wash up on the shores of a fictionalized Los Angeles. To conceptualize the story, the band created a mood board, inspired by movies like Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Blade Runner and HER.
