“Kam has been instrumental in developing Beartooth into the band that it is today,” the statement read. “His contributions will have a lasting impact on the legacy of the band and he will be very missed.”

You can read the full statement below.

The band now consists of vocalist Caleb Shomo, bassist Oshie Bichar, guitarist Zach Huston and drummer Connor Denis.

Beartooth dropped an acoustic EP The Blackbird Sessions last year, which was their first release since dropping Disease in 2018. You can listen to both of those records below.

Speaking of Disease, the band announced over the weekend that they are donating a signed test-pressing of the album to a silent auction benefiting For The Nomas, a fundraiser giving back to members of the touring community that are out of work.
