Best Coast have announced that they will enter the studio in two weeks, to begin work on their third full-length album.

The as-yet-untitled release will serve as a proper followup to 2012's The Only Place, and recording comes just weeks after the release of the group's new “mini album,” Fade Away.

Check out an announcement from the band:

Though Fade Away was released via Jewel City, an imprint of Kobalt Label Services, recently launched by Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino, it is unclear if the group's third album will follow suit. Best Coast's new record is expected to arrive in early 2014.
