Here are the top tours of 2018

Billboard is sharing the list of highest-grossing tours of 2018.

Billboard has been posting its end of the year lists this week, sharing which songs and artists were the most successful in 2018. On Tuesday, Dec. 4, the company released its Top 10 tracks of the year, which included two Post Malone songs.

Now, the results of which tours did the best in 2018 are in, and they’re dominated by pop artists.

Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour tackles first place, grossing over $429 million in 99 shows all over the world. The numbers make the run the most successful in the history of the Billboard Boxscore, which started in 1990.

Previous to that, the Rolling Stones held the top spot with their 2006 A Bigger Bang Tour, which grossed $425.1 million.

According to Billboard, the top ten is filled by young pop artists, marking a shift from the usual from the usual legacy acts that dominate the chart.

However, U2 still got the number one spot for the rock genre. The band’s Top Rock Tour, which appears at seven overrall, grossed over $199 million. Plus, Journey and Def Leppard appear on the top 10 due to their co-headliner.
