Billie Eilish surpasses Cardi B for another huge chart record

Billie Eilish is celebrating taking the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Not to mention that, she is also the first musician born in the 2000s to do so. Now, she broken another huge chart record that further proves she can’t be stopped.

The singer just received her first top 10 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and with that, she’s broken the record for the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 titles among women. She has 14.

To break it down, the album has 13 songs. Out of those, 12 are on the Hot 100 besides the final track “Goodbye.” Along with those, her tracks “Lovely” and “Ocean Eyes” also appear on the chart.

The highest charted song is “Bad Guy” at the No. 7 spot. Eilish just dropped a crazy video for the song, which you can see below.

Eilish has now passed Cardi B, who charted 13 songs in April 2018. Below that, Ariana Grande and Beyonce have both had 12 simultaneous Hot 100 songs.

Outside of just women, rapper Drake holds the record for most simultaneous Hot 100 songs with 27. That occured when his album Scorpion dropped.

Eilish’s album has had the second-biggest opening week for 2019 so far.

Besides Eilish’s huge success on Billboard, she also is now the youngest female soloact in UK chart history to debut at No. 1 on the Official UK albums chart.

Since her album dropped, she’s made a lot of famous fans. She geeked out when Hayley Williams from Paramore and Avril Lavigne gushed about her album.

Also, Justin Bieber apparently followed her and Dave Grohl showed up to Ellen to watch her perform after previously comparing the hype around the artist to Nirvana in the ‘90s. In addition, Angela Kinsey, who plays Angela in The Office, celebrated the singer’s debut album. The creators of The Office recently revealed they were a bit confused when Eilish requested to sample the show, but excited in general.

Eilish just recently posted some adorable photos of her parents taking selfies outside of billboards with her face on it, and it’s almost too cute.

Eilish is headed on a huge North American tour. Tickets are on sale here here. Check out the full list of dates below, which was recently updated.
