Billie Eilish gives Avril Lavigne, Radiohead, more songs her own spin

Billie Eilish just won’t stop making things sound incredible. Her own moody melodies and solemn songs aren’t all she has to offer, however.

In Elle’s Song Association, she sings lyrics to Radiohead, Avril Lavigne and P!nk.

The name of the game is that the artist must think of a song that features the given word within ten seconds. So if we gave you the word “perfect” you would have ten seconds to belt out the lyrics to a song with that word. We hope you’d choose “Perfect” by Simple Plan too.

Eilish is off to a rough start with the word “dance” but quickly gains momentum on her way to sk8rgrl herself Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated”. Billie Eilish killed it and we think she may be more of a pop-punk kid then her music suggests.

The peak of the game, however, comes when she’s given the word “when”. She hauntingly kicks into Radiohead’s “Creep”. Eilish clearly has an attachment to the song as she’s very much taken over by nostalgia. Hauntingly spitting out the lyrics like she’s Billie Holiday singing about the moon.

More Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has dropped her dark video for “all the good girls go to hell” that’s pretty demonic.

The 17-year-old musician was teasing us Tuesday with cryptic Instagram Stories and a gigantic video display in Times Square.

Eilish began dropping teasers on her Instagram Story, first dropping a clip of her track “all the good girls go to hell” from her album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

She followed up the clip with an image that said “haven’t you been waiting long enough?”And then, her final teaser told those in New York to head to Times Square and watch the screens at 4:00 p.m.

Now, the video is here and it’s just as creepy as we expected. It starts out by paying a nod to her “bury a friend” video where she’s stuck in the back with several injections.

Then, Eilish is seen as some kind of creature with wings that falls out of the sky into what looks like a pit of tar. She walks through a burning city and the entire thing is pretty trippy. You can see it down below.

We know you love Billie, but how do feel about her singing Radiohead? Let us know below.
