Machine Gun Kelly has been making quite a few headlines for his back-and-forth beef with Eminem over the past few months. While the shots have essentially fizzled out, the rapper has still been keeping plenty busy with a plethora of other projects.
We found out yesterday he’s been in the studio with Lana Del Rey, and a month ago he dropped his Binge EP. Outside of music, MGK is also an actor having appeared in Nerve and Showtime’s Roadies among other things.
Nearly a year ago, it was revealed Kells would be joining the cast of Netflix thriller Bird Box alongside Sandra Bullock. The film also features American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson and Get Out’s Lil Rel Howery, and we finally have a first trailer.
Unfortunately, Machine Gun Kelly isn’t in the clip for more than a few seconds, so here’s a GIF from the film to hold you over.

The movie is giving us some major A Quiet Place vibes but instead of sound being detrimental, it’s sight. According to Elite Daily, the synopsis is as follows:
“When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they’ll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded. Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock leads an all-star cast that includes Trevante Rhodes, with Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich in BIRD BOX, a compelling new thriller from Academy Award® winner Susanne Bier.”
Bird Box isn’t the only film MGK has in the works. He’ll also be appearing in upcoming Captive State, Big Time Adolescence (with Pete Davidson) and as Tommy Lee in The Dirt.
Bird Box hits Netflix Dec. 21, and you can check out the trailer below.
