‘Birds Of Prey’ debuts first poster giving colorful new look at Harley Quinn

Birds Of Prey has unveiled a colorful new poster featuring Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) lost in a daze of her anti-hero companions.

The Suicide Squad spinoff unveiled the poster with the official release date just a few weeks after it was leaked online thanks to a teaser trailer that was spotted in theaters.

The new poster centers on Quinn, much like the film itself. She’s seen in front of a rainbow colored background sporting a bright pink top, lots of chain necklaces and her signature red lipstick.

Quinn seems unbothered, looking in a daze at all of the other stars of the film as birds.

We see Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Huntress(Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Black Mask (Ewan McGregor), Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) and Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).  Quinn herself is also seen as a smaller version of herself sporting some wings.

A tattoo on Quin’s neck matches the caption of the new poster, which is “Mind Over Mayhem.” You can see the new poster below.

This is the first real poster we’ve gotten for Birds Of Prey, aside from the official logo that was revealed earlier this year. You can see that below.

The film drops February 7, which as we previously stated, we kind of already knew.

Earlier this month,  fans began reporting seeing the It-inspired teaser trailer in theaters ahead of certain films.

Clips of the trailer began to surface online, but Warner Bros. were quick to get them taken down.

The trailer opens by looking like a promo for the Pennywise film, but a mallet-swinging Harley Quinn soon takes over the screen.

Then, the full teaser trailer made its way to YouTube revealing that the film will be released Feb. 2020.

More on Birds Of Prey

Even though Birds Of Prey isn’t slated to hit theaters until early next year, it looks like the film may have already hit a bit of a snag. Test Screenings of the movie have left split reactions between audiences and Warner Bros. executives.

Screen Rant’s Stephen M. Colbert took to Twitter to state that audiences were “raving” about Birds Of Prey. He went on to reveal that the internal WB screening had the “opposite effect.”

“So the audience test screening for Birds of Prey had people raving about it and the internal WB test screening seemingly had the opposite effect. So basically all I needed to be reassured. Hopefully, Robbie can keep their hands off of it.”

The synopsis for Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) reads, “After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes—Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya—come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord.”
