Black Veil Brides don’t know what the future holds, Andy Biersack says

While discussing his forthcoming comic book and solo album the Ghost Of Ohio, Black Veil Brides vocalist Andy Biersack revealed what the future holds for the band after his solo project’s cycle. By the looks of it, the band have a lot of wiggle room to experiment and redefine their path.

In a recent interview with NME, Biersack says their direction is currently unknown. However, the vocalist seems excited about what possibilities may come into play. That said, Biersack seems says their future is open-ended because of their intent to stray the storyline of the Wretched And Divine.

“I don’t know what’s gonna happen next, and that’s what’s so exciting,” Biersack says of Black Veil Brides’ future. “For the longest time, there was a trajectory where I had set up this story with The Wretched And Divine then we did the more hard-rock oriented record with Bob Rock, then we re-entered the Wretched And Divine story and there were pre-determined elements to what the band was gonna be. This is the first time in years where I don’t know what’s going to come next.

“I don’t know what the next chapter is, and I don’t know how the other guys are feeling about different things,” Biersack continues. “We’ve got an opportunity now to kind of do what we’re doing, and each of us are focusing on different projects, and we’ll regroup and see where it goes.”

Additionally, Biersack says he is hopeful for his solo projects. In the interview, he was asked whether or not he thinks the Ghost Of Ohio will be picked up by Netflix like Gerard Way’s Umbrella Academy.

While he says that would be a dream come true, Biersack remains humble and says he just wants people to enjoy the book.

“Oh absolutely, but I don’t think anyone’s offering it to me right now,” Biersack says of the possibility of Netflix picking up the Ghost Of Ohio. “That’s a level of success that would be a dream to achieve but I just want people to read the book first.”
