The Resurrection Tour, a massive co-headliner between Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria, was set to hit Vancouver tonight until a hiccup at the Canadian border forced BVB to pull from tonight's show.

Vocalist Andy Biersack took to Twitter to release a statement and to apologize to their Canadian fans.

“This morning we arrived at the Canadian border in order to gain access to a counry that we have not only played countless shows in but also recorded an album and spent a great deal of time in over the years. Instead, several memebers of our tour were denied entry, berated and treated with utter contempt by the agents on duty. We have been touring internationally for a decade and have never experienced such a lack of civility at any border crossing or passport control in any country we have ever visited. We have a fantastic relationship with our Canadian fans and it's with a very heavy heart that we must share that we are unable to play tonight's show in Vancouver. Refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase, thank you for your understanding and we promise to return again as soon as possible. BVB”

Asking Alexandria also released a statement, stating they would still continue with their portion of the Vancouver show.

“VANCOUVER I want to bring to your attention that we WILL in fact be playing the show tonight. Unfortunately our brothers in BVB were denied entrance into Canada at the border crossing this morning forcing them to have to cancel their appearance at tonight's show. We will, however, be continuing on as planned and playing for you all tonight! Let's make this an extra rowdy one guys! We are looking forward to seeing you all tonight. Much love, Asking Alexandria”
