blink-182 cancel rescheduled Bunbury Music Festival performance

Last summer, blink-182 were set to play Bunbury Music Festival 2018. However, the band were forced to cancel “due to unseen circumstances” a few days before their Friday slot.

At the time, the band and Bunbury both confirmed blink would be returning in 2019 for a rescheduled performance, but it looks like that has changed.

In May 2018, Bunbury reposted blink’s statement with the caption:

“Hey Bunbarians, Due to unfortunate circumstances Blink-182 will not be able to join us this Friday, but in good news, they’ll be joining us for Bunbury 2019!”

Today, blink shared an update on playing the festival. In it, they state they will no longer be able to make the festival due to being “hard at work in the studio on [their] next album.”

While there is no mention of rescheduling again, the band assure they’re planning to announce touring plans later this year.

You can view the full statement below.

“To our Cincinnati fans—we are hard at work in the studio on our next album and will hopefully be announcing touring plans for later this year. Unfortunately this means we will not be able to perform at this year’s Bunbury Music Festival. We apologize and as always, thank you all for the love and support. We’ll see you soon!”
