Travis Barker involved in car accident with school bus

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was reportedly involved in a “bad” car accident Friday (July 13) evening when a school bus collided with the black Mercedes he was driving.

According to TMZ, Barker was making a left turn when the bus—also in the midst of a turn—hit his vehicle.

Police told the outlet no children were on the bus at the time and that Barker was not at fault.

Barker’s 14-year-old son was in the car along with some other passengers, although their condition was not known at the time. The accident did cause the vehicle’s airbags to deploy.

Witnesses at the scene told TMZ that Barker was walking around after the accident and  “did not appear seriously injured” but did seem “dazed.”

Emergency vehicles and police blocked off the area after the accident.

Barker seems to be on a bit of a bad luck streak, sharing his diagnosis of blood clots in his arms just last month that forced Blink-182 to postpone some scheduled performances. He recently released a video updating his fans on his recovery.

“It’s been the longest 4 weeks without playing drums,” Barker says. “I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor.”

Blink-182 still have a couple remaining tour dates in August, as well as a few Vegas weekends coming up in October and November. Check out the list of dates and cities below.
