A few months ago, it was reported that Barker was involved in a “bad” car accident after a school bus collided with the black Mercedes he was driving. Barker, who was not the cause of the accident, is now suing the bus company and driver for the car crash.

In a report by TMZ, the drummer will also be suing the Medical Imaging Center in Santa Monica after undergoing an MRI treatment from the center just a month prior to the bus accident.

Per the report, he claims that he was supposed to be sedated for the procedure, which led him to being stuck with a dirty needle multiple times resulting in vein damage and a staph infection.

The medical center or bus company have yet to respond to the lawsuit claims.

Barker has seemed to be on a bit of a bad luck streak as of late, sharing his diagnosis of blood clots in his arms just last month that forced Blink-182 to originally postpone some scheduled performances. He recently released a video updating his fans on his recovery.

“It’s been the longest 4 weeks without playing drums,” Barker says. “I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor.”

Additionally, Blink-182 canceled their upcoming tour dates following Barker’s ongoing medical issues, saying in a statement:

“Medical issues have sidelined Travis per doctors’ orders,” the band wrote. “Trav’s medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour but after recent checkups they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of date.”
