blink-182's Travis Barker speaks after car accident
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has shared some details of the car accident he was involved in last week.

Barker and his 14-year-old son were involved in a car accident Friday (July 13) evening when a school bus collided with the black Mercedes the musican was driving.
He was making a left turn when the bus—also in the midst of a turn—hit his vehicle. Police told the outlet no children were on the bus at the time and that Barker was not at fault.
The accident caused the vehicle’s airbags to deploy, but witnesses at the scene told TMZ that Barker was walking around after the accident and “did not appear seriously injured” but did seem “dazed.”
On Saturday, July 14, the drummer spoke to E! News and shared more information about the accident.
“Yesterday, I was in a really bad car accident but I came out unscathed, which is pretty awesome,” Barker said. “My car is totaled but I pretty much walked away OK, which is awesome.”
“A school bus ran a red light. It was insane,” he continued. “I have a really big 4×4 G-Wagon and if I wasn’t in that, it might have been different but it held up pretty well.”
Barker seems to be on a bit of a bad luck streak, sharing his diagnosis of blood clots in his arms just last month that forced Blink-182 to postpone some scheduled performances. He recently released a video updating his fans on his recovery.
“It’s been the longest 4 weeks without playing drums,” Barker says. “I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor.”
Blink-182 still have a couple remaining tour dates in August, as well as a few Vegas weekends coming up in October and November. Check out the list of dates and cities below.
