Body Count release powerful trailer for new single, “No Lives Matter”

Body Count, featuring Ice-T on vocals, has just released a new video teaser for their upcoming music video, “No Lives Matter.”

“It’s unfortunate that we even have to say Black Lives Matter. I mean, if you go through history, nobody ever gave a fuck,” Ice-T says in the teaser. “The issue isn’t about everybody. It’s about black lives at the moment. But the truth of the matter is, they don’t really give a fuck about anybody.”

The band’s new track is taken off their forthcoming album Bloodlust.

“With our last album Manslaughter, we tested the waters and got a great response from the fans and critics,” says Ice-T. “Now it’s time to go kill it and make a more aggressive album and keep the Body Count style intact.”

More information on the band’s new album will be announced in the coming weeks. The band’s last album, Manslaughter, was released back in 2014. The group also performed at the 2014 APMAs.

The full music video is set to drop Feb. 17.
