Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees Bon Jovi have announced that they will be celebrating their induction by reuniting the original lineup at the awards ceremony in Cleveland.
The Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio where Bon Jovi has announced they would be bringing in their original lineup for “a couple songs”.
This means Alec John Such and Richie Sambora, who left the group in 1994 and 2013, will be joining Jon Bon Jovi, Tico Torres and David Bryan for what we're sure will be a memorable and emotional performance.
“It's hard to predict what you're going to go through,” Torres tells Billboard in a recent interview. “But speaking to Alec on the phone, it was wonderful. We took that journey together at certain times as a group, and I think it's wonderful we can re-enact that — not only for us, but for the fans. I think when you get together with old friends, there's always going to be some deep emotions within that.”
Torres, Bryan and Jon Bon Jovi are currently on tour in support of their 2016 album This House Is Not For Sale. The band have also been releasing a few news songs while on tour, including the track “When We Were Us” which was inspired by their Hall of Fame induction.
