Bones UK drop 'UNPLUGGED' EP alongside performance film

Bones UK are hot off the heels of a Grammy nomination and now they’re releasing a new unplugged EP alongside a performance film.

The duo are releasing the five-song UNPLUGGED EP consisting of tracks re-recorded from their debut album plus a 29-minute video conceptualizing their video.

The band are up for a Grammy for Best Rock Performance for their track “Pretty Waste.” Rosie Bones says the nomination is equally shocking as it is strange to experience.

“We were definitely the underdogs. But we work our faces off. I think it’s great that the Grammys are paying attention to young new bands and not just nominating the same people. We were totally shocked, and we’re quite happy.”

They also celebrated the new EP, film and nomination with a performance in New York City today before they head to Los Angeles for the awards ceremony on Sunday. You can check that out below.

Bones UK are also opening for Korn and Breaking Benjamin on their North American Winter tour right now. They’ll be following these dates up with a string of dates supporting Royal Blood from May 3 to May 14 and have some festival dates planned as well.

The Grammys are airing live from Staples Center at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
