World’s cutest dog dies in sleep, internet does not take it well

The world’s cutest dog, Boo, has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. According to Buzzfeed, the 12-year-old Pomeranian passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Boo’s owners announced his passing on Facebook and Instagram yesterday. In the post, his owners say that Boo went on to join his older brother Buddy, who passed in 2017.

“Our family is heartbroken, but we find comfort knowing that he is no longer in any pain or discomfort,” the post says. “We know that Buddy was the first to greet him on the other side of that rainbow bridge, and this is likely the most excited either of them have been in a long time.”

The post then goes on to reveal that ever since his best friend died, Boo had been experiencing heart problems.

“We think his heart literally broke when Buddy left us. He hung on and gave us over a year. But it looks like it was his time, and I’m sure it was a most joyous moment for them when they saw each other in heaven.”

Of course, the internet has not been responding well to the news to Boo’s death. People from all over the world are reaching out “Boo’s humans” and offering their sympathy.

Boo had generally been regarded as “the world’s cutest dog,” according to Buzzfeed. At the time of press, Boo’s Facebook page shows over 16 million fans. Additionally, the dog has over 500,000 followers on Instagram.
