Brand New's Jesse Lacey forgets lyrics mid-song, asks fan if they have them on their phone

Let's just say things didn't exactly go as planned at Brand New's recent show in Albuquerque, NM.

After frontman Jesse Lacey got a few lines into their song “Millstone,” he began to mumble and stepped away from the mic, forgetting the line, “I used to care I was being cared for.” Instead of just playing it off, letting the crowd take over and jumping in later, he stopped the song completely and began asking around to find out which line came next. He even went as far as to ask a fan in the crowd, “Do you have the lyrics on your phone there, bro?”

You can watch a video of the slight mishap below, which the band rebounded from by absolutely slaying the rest of their set.
