Brendon Urie talks video games, reveals his gaming "fondest memory"
The holidays are officially here, and what better way of celebrating everyone’s favorite time of the year than a little reminiscing?
So, in the spirit of having a little stroll down memory lane, Variety met up with some celebrities (including Panic! At The Disco‘s Brendon Urie) to discuss their favorite video games.

In order to do so, the source met up with various creators and influencers in the gaming industry at the Game Awards this past summer to discuss which games brought out their best memories.
Urie, who ended up actually presenting the award for the best video game score at the show, met up with Variety beforehand, where he was asked that very question.
Well, according to Panic’s frontman, the game that brought back the most memories was one that he used to play “the hell out of,” and honestly, we can’t really blame him for the pick.
“The first time me and my sister split [the] cost of a used Super Nintendo, and it came with one game,” Urie shared with the source. “It was Sonic Blast Man and I played the hell out of that thing. I still love going back to that game, it’s fun.”

Urie being asked to present at the Game Awards shouldn’t come as too much of a shock, as the frontman seems to be a pretty big fan of playing games…so much so that he even does his own Twitch streams at times.
The vocalist recently made good of a promise he made a while back, where he claimed that he was planning to launch a metal version of the beloved Panic! At The Disco track, “The Calendar.”
Urie revealed a snippet of the song during his Twitch stream, where the singer aired the previously-hinted-at song during one of his Fortnite sessions.
Honestly, the metal take on the classic Vices & Virtues song has us swooning.
“I want to do a metal project in particular,” Urie earlier revealed to Rock Sound. “I actually just played something for my bandmates recently. We have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back.”
In other Panic!-related news, the band recently announced the second leg of their Pray For The Wicked Tour. The North American tour will feature support from Two Feet.
