Brendon Urie commemorates Frank Sinatra in reflective "Death Of A Bachelor" statement
Earlier today, Panic! At The Disco released their highly anticipated single, “Death Of A Bachelor.” Following the song’s premiere on Beats Radio 1, frontman Brendon Urie shared a lengthy statement on his Instagram account, in which he commemorated Frank Sinatra and delved into the track’s underlying significance. “[Frank Sinatra’s] music has been a major player in the soundtrack of my life. So it’s only right that I return the favor and/or pay it forward,” the frontman offered. “I wrote a new album this year and even in the few songs that don’t sound remotely similar to any of his music I still felt his influence in the writing and the need to relate so personally to each song.”
