Brian Bedford, voice of Disney's 'Robin Hood,' dies at 80

British actor Brian Bedford has passed away at the age of 80 after a two-year cancer battle. 

Bedford is known to most as the voice actor behind Disney's Robin Hood, but he was also a prolific stage actor. He studied the craft in England, eventually moving to North America and directing 29 seasons of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Canada. He later won a Tony award for best actor for his work in The School For Wives.

Bedford also holds acting credits in Cheers, Frasier and Alfred Hitchcock Presents
