Bring Me The Horizon cancel more shows due to frontman’s injured voice
Bring Me The Horizon have canceled more live performances due to Oli Sykes’ ruptured vocal cord.
The band was set to perform a BRITs Week show in support of charity organization War Child, which was supposed to be on Tuesday.

The show has been postponed to May 29, and all tickets will remain valid. War Child tweeted about the event being postponed and wished Sykes a healthy recovery.

The show was set to take place at The Dome in Tufnell Park in London.
The BRITs Week shows are hosted by War Child, which raises money for children affected by war. All of the money made would be donated to their cause.

Last week, Bring Me The Horizon had to cancel their final two U.S. tour dates due to Sykes’ diagnosis. Sykes later took to Twitter to explain his ruptured vocal cord further.
“People forget the vocal cords are a muscle, a muscle that can be compromised by not just exertion but the elements/conditions etc.,” Sykes says in a tweet. “Screaming when done correctly is actually less strain on the voice than singing in your top octaves (in fact, if I’m trying to go easy on my voice, I’ll often resort to doing my old style of screaming, it’s literally like putting on an accent) but this is just something that happens sometimes… as much as it sucks!”

To avoid permanent damage, Sykes has to rest his voice for some time.
Fever 333 and Thrice, who were currently on tour with the band, also made separate posts about the cancellation.
