Bring Me The Horizon drop new Oli Sykes-directed video for "DiE4u"—watch
Bring Me The Horizon have released a new video for their latest single “DiE4u.”
Additionally, the band will be hitting the road for their Post Human tour. They will be joined by longtime friends and fellow British rockers You Me At Six as well as recent collaborators Nova Twins for the entire U.K. arena run of shows.

Bring Me The Horizon are the project of Oli Sykes (vocals), Jordan Fish (keyboards), Lee Malia (guitar), Matt Kean (bass) and Matt Nicholls (drums). While best known for pushing sonic boundaries and creating new ground across a wide array of different musical territories, the band once again do not shy away from creating genre-bending and dynamic compositions with their latest track. This time, however, the music has never sounded more direct, personal and relevant for their die-hard audience and newcomers alike.
“‘DiE4u’ is a song about toxic obsessions, vices and things you can’t kick,” frontman Sykes reveals. “I think a lot of people went through very similar struggles while in lockdown, coming face to face with yourself and seeing who you really are and what’s important.”

“DiE4u” was once again written and recorded entirely remote due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with Sykes recording his parts while stationed in Brazil during lockdown. Longtime producer and keyboardist Fish created the composition from his studio in the U.K. During these uncertain times and immediately following international lockdowns, Bring Me The Horizon were quick to not waste any time, using it as an impetus for increasing their recorded output.
The result was a stockpile of material, the first of which we heard in October 2020 with the release of the first installment of several EPs as part of their self-dubbed Post Human era. landing them a No. 1 Album in the U.K., respectively, as well as a sold-out headlining tour this fall. Remarkably, the band even saw material released nearly a decade ago reach significant milestones recently, with their 2013 single “Sleepwalking” receiving silver certification, selling over 200,000 units.

It’s safe to say that the band’s success will only continue to follow a similar trajectory. However, it’s not just musical and critical success that has spawned during this period. It has also served as a cathartic time for Sykes to confront lingering issues head-on. The artist has found a new perspective and furthered his personal growth, which is a paramount theme at play on their latest single.
“The song is a triumphant and emotional one for me because it was a time of realization to kick the things that were no good and to take the choice in bettering myself,” Sykes explains candidly. ”It also connects to a deeper theme about us as a society and how we need to look at the way we treat ourselves, each other, as well as the world.”

As always, the latest single comes with an incredible music video, directed exceptionally by Sykes himself. In the visual, Sykes managed to create a cinematic experience that goes even further beyond what the band have already established for themselves, both aesthetically and visually. The video takes place in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic night club dubbed “Club Hellhole” that sees the band performing among cyber punks, ravenous vampires and, of course, gratuitous amounts of blood splattered across every inch of the environment.
While only the band’s U.K. fans will get a taste of the Post Human tour this year starting Sept. 20 in Hull, with You Me At Six and Nova Twins, the band are also scheduled to finally make their return to the U.S. for a high-profile slot on this year’s Knotfest 2021, founded and headlined by heavy-metal legends Slipknot. Joining them on the Los Angeles date Nov. 5 are Killswitch Engage, FEVER 333, Code Orange and Vended.
