Bring Me The Horizon debut cinematic "In The Dark" music video
Last week, Bring Me The Horizon began teasing a new music video hinting that Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker would be taking on a role in the video.
Now, the wait is over as the band debuts their cinematic new visual for “In The Dark.” Check it out below!

Taking to Twitter on Friday, the band shared a clip with the caption “r u ready? Monday 21 October” showing a blurry close-up shot of a man that looked a lot like Whitaker.

Whitaker is known for his roles in movies such as Black Panther, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Platoon, The Last King Of Scotland, and Emmy Award-winning TV series, The Shield.
Back in 2017, Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker joined his daughter Sonnet at a BMTH show in Atlanta, Georgia and it appeared he’s in the new video. Yesterday, frontman Oli Sykes confirmed Whitaker’s involvement and announced the video marks his directorial debut.

Today, BMTH have released their dramatic new video for “In The Dark” that acts as a visual metaphor for the grieving process.
“I guess it’s meant to be a representation of the grieving process,” frontman Oli Sykes tells NME. “It’s a visual metaphor for what the song is talking about. When it comes to the grieving process, we all try to ignore that feeling–but it’s important to grieve. Even if something’s happened for the best, you need to take that moment to feel something. Some people lose a whole world to grief sometimes, while others just don’t grieve. Sometimes we’re just too scared to face our emotions.”
