Capsize debut new music video for “Favorite Secret” and other news you might have missed today

1. Captain Cuts released a music video for their song “Love Like We Used To,” featuring Nateur.

The video involves a baby cougar, a pope-dog, a butler shaving money as if it was parmesan. Basically, it’s a must-see—check it out below!

2. Capsize released a new music video for their track for “Favorite Secret.” Check it out below!

The song from the Southern California-based post-hardcore outfit is taken from their latest full-length, A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me.

Capsize will be headed on a US tour supporting Norma Jean and He Is Legend, with additional support from Comrades. Check out the full list of cities and dates below!

The band is currently in the studio finishing recording the follow up to their 2015 full length, Nailbiter. The band’s new full-length is set to be released later this year.

4. Five-piece progressive rock band Versus released a music video for their song “Stone Heart,” the first single taken from their debut full-length, The Cardinal out Mar. 3.

The song, about how hard life can be at times and how hard it is to deal with mental illness, premiered via Metal Underground. On the track, the band says, “When you feel like the ant under the magnifying glass, it's already an uphill battle and even harder when there's weight holding you down.”

The band is currently on the road with fellow label mates Alesana and Charlatan. Check out their remaining tour dates below!

5. Legendary hardcore singer and frontman of the Cro-Mags John Joseph announces the release of the extended edition of his autobiography, The Evolution of a Cro-Magnon.

This new edition, slated for an Apr. 4 release, features additional chapters, personal photographs, a new afterward and an accompanying audiobook that John recorded himself. Preorder bundles, including a signed copy of the book and limited lithograph prints of the book cover (limited to 250), are available here.

Proceeds from the premium bundle benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation, which drives research, expands knowledge and advances care for those diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis.

“A lot of stuff has happened since we released the book in 2007,” Joseph shared about the re-release of his book. “I’ve updated information, added a couple of chapters and photos, but the message stays the same. I want to show others that no matter what they are going through in life, they have to never quit and never surrender. If you are willing to fight through it, you can get through anything.”

6. LA post-hardcore band Letlive. stopped Rolling Stone Australia’s office to play an acoustic rendition of their song “Foreign Cab Rides.” Give it a listen below!

The track is taken from their latest album If I’m the Devil….'.

7. The single day band lineups have been announced for the third annual Northern Invasion for Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14 at Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, WI. Check out the daily lineups below!
