Chad Gilbert recalls meeting Hayley for the first time

During Chad Gilbert's AP Q&A, he responded to a fan’s question of when he first met Hayley. “I met Hayley on Warped Tour [in] 2007. I was just friends with Paramore [at the time]. Then, the next year, we toured together in Europe and I couldn’t stay away from her. Fell in love then.”  (Of course it was at punk-rock summer camp.)

He also revealed how it felt to see his fiancée in a Taylor Swift music video. “It was awesome. Helps me in convincing her to re-launch Buffy The Vampire Slayer and be the new Buffy.”

Last December, Hayley revealed that her and Chad were engaged. The couple went public that they were dating back in September 2008. She nonchalantly dropped the news with a “Hey guess what?” on Twitter. Gilbert then added that he “popped the question on Christmas.”
