In the vid from Dec. 2, 2015, Smith is performing with his funk-rock side project the Bombastic Meatbats at the Los Angeles Musicians Institute when a fan excitedly shouts the popular Step Brothers actor and SNL alumnus' name. Smith humorously bellows “Shut up!” and saunters off the stage before returning to playfully banter with the rambunctious audience member.

“Nah, I'm just f*cking with you,” Smith says to the fan. “I don't give a sh*t, I think it's great! I'm f*cking famous because of Will Ferrell. F*ck that guy, right?”

Smith has played up his uncanny likeness to funny man Ferrell before: The pair performed together on The Tonight Show in 2014, treating viewers to an epic drum battle. In 2016, the doppelgänger duo raised over $500,000 for charity at Funny Or Die's Red Hot Benefit Comedy & Music Show & Quinceanera.

Anyway, be mindful of what you shout at Chad Smith, friends!
