Check out footage from Real Friends' $5 Tour in new music video for "Mess"
Last night, Real Friends dropped “Mess.” Now, check out the new song's video below, which features footage of the band's awesome $5 Tour from earlier this year.

The $5 Tour not only included $5 tickets, but it also saw the band performing in unique venues like bowling alleys and record shops—a response to ticket prices going up and local music venues closing down.
“'Mess' is a song about self examination. It's about finding the light even in the darkest of rooms,” bassist Kyle Fasel says to SPIN. “The lyrical content has many moments of looking back and knowing that things get better. I find myself to be a person that thinks back more than most, and as I get older, I find myself looking back in a more positive way.”
“Mess” comes from Real Friend's forthcoming album The Home Inside My Head, which is slated to release May 27 via Fearless Records (available for preorder). Listen to the previous two song releases “Colder Quicker” here and “Scared To Be Alone” here.
Real Friends will also be on the entirety of Vans Warped Tour this summer. The band are also up for Artist Of The Year at the APMAs. Vote for your favorite sad boys now!
