Chelsea Grin guitarist taking leave of absence from touring to pursue science research and lab work
Chelsea Grin guitarist Dan Jones has revealed that he will not be touring with the band for the remainder of 2015. Instead, he will be taking the time off to research microbial mercury methylation in the genetics lab of Salt Lake City, Utah's Westminster College.
Jones also claimed that during this time, “significant progress” will be made on the CG's new album. You can check out a series of tweets from the guitarist below. If you're interested, read a research essay he published this past December.
