On Sept. 26, Fam Rothstein of Wolf + Rothstein, took to Twitter to share that Glover’s last Gambino tour ever, was simply “postponed, not canceled” and that Glover “played through the pain but has to sit some dates out.”
Wolf + Rothstein are now sharing the new dates for the This Is America tour, as well as a statement about Glover’s appearance at Austin City Limits.
“Thanks for your patience while we evaluated Donald’s injury,” the post reads. “We wish him a speedy recovery and we’ll see you all soon when the #thisisamericatour continues.”
Most of the dates are rescheduled for December. However, the Seattle show, which was supposed to take place at the Key Arena, is canceled due to venue renovations. Exchange requests and refunds are available online or at the points of purchase.
Gambino’s appearance at ACL Music Festival is also canceled, and fans can request a ticket exchange online on the website.
Tickets from the canceled shows are valid for the new run, which starts Dec. 2 in Nashville, TN. Check out the new dates below:

Childish Gambino’s last tour ever
During a show at Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Arena, Glover confirmed to fans that he would officially be hanging up his Childish Gambino moniker after this tour.
“Number one, if you’re at this show, then you know this is the last Gambino tour ever,” Glover shared to the crowd in a clip uploaded by a Reddit user. “I love you forever for supporting me and coming out. If you’re in here, that means you bought a ticket. So, you don’t need to film this shit. Experience this shit. This is not a concert. This is fucking church.”
Donald Glover announced earlier last year of his plans to retire the “Childish Gambino” moniker after he released his forthcoming, and coincidentally last, album.
The news, of course, didn’t go over well with fans of the rap artist. While there was hope that Glover would possibly change his mind following his first major label deal, it looks as though that’s simply not the case.
There’s no official word on when we can expect the Gambino album, we do know that the new project will be his last.
