Teaming up with the likes of Elton John, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Fallon, Ryan Gosling, Courtney Cox, George Clooney, Ciara and more, the campaign aims to help refugee children in war-torn countries and keep Cornell's goal alive.

Cornell is featured in a new video, alongside tons of other stars, and you can watch the heartfelt footage below.

The video features Cornell's song for The Promise, which is the first feature film to highlight the story of the Armenian genocide. All proceeds from the film have gone toward human rights causes, including creation of the Promise Institute for Human Rights at UCLA School of Law.

Plus, Cornell donated all of his proceeds from the song to the International Rescue Committee.

Fans are encouraged to post their Promise videos on social media using the hashtag #keepthepromise

Back in November, a coalition led by Vicky Cornell, the wife of the late singer, created an endowed fund of more than $1 million to support scholarships at UCLA School of Law.

The Chris Cornell Scholarship was created to honor Cornell’s “commitment to justice, human rights and advocacy for those in need,” and members of the coalition include both friends and colleagues of Cornell, as well as supporters of UCLA’s Law program.

Cornell died unexpectedly this past May at age 52. The Cornell family has since honored him with a memorial statue in his hometown of Seattle and musicians such as Tom Morello and Serj Tankian have performed in his memory.
