Eric Poncet of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! chats with Ernie Ball “All Things Warped” host Anthony Raneri (Bayside) while getting his hair cut on Warped Tour 2014.
Poncet chats about his first Warped experiences and his roots in a “very punk-rock city of France.”
“The local scene was so much into punk-rock that just local bands could fill like 1,000 people in a venue,” he says.
He also talks about growing pains of the band, how their hometown scene feels about Chunk! now and being bilingual.

“Our first album was only in terrible English,” he says. “I wish I could be more fluent back in the day to write better lyrics, but at the same time, I feel like the mistakes we did on our first records might be why we’re here right now.”
