According to Consequence of Sound, the fire was a result of one of the mobile showers experiencing “mechanical failure of a heating unit.”

Many users who witnessed the fire first-hand took to social media to share their experience.

I was waiting in line tryna shower at Coachella & it exploded & caught on fire right in front of me,” one Twitter user recalls.

While there were no injuries relating to the fire last night, the Riverside County Fire Department claim one trailer was destroyed, and another damaged as a result of the flames.

Coachella has yet to make a public statement regarding the fire.
