A weather warning has been issued for campers headed to the second weekend of Coachella—thanks to severe winds.
The festival explains that the National Weather Service has issued a severe high wind warning “beginning Thursday morning lasting through early morning Friday.”
They've delayed the opening of camping, with the grounds now opening for camping on Friday, April 20 at 3 a.m., pending safe conditions.
“Please be aware you may experience high wait times, staging time in your cars and we will not be able to accommodate wait together, camp together. ABSOLUTELY no campsite set ups, no tent canopies or pop-up tents will be allowed to be put up until high wind has passed,” the festival shared in a statement.
Music lovers have a little something special to look forward to at this weekend's Coachella extravaganza. Marilyn Manson will be making a special guest appearance at this weekend's Coachella with Japanese metal legends X Japan.
X Japan's April 14 set during Coachella's first weekend reportedly saw Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland and Guns N' Roses' Richard Fortus drop in for a bit, so it'll be interesting to see what live collaboration Manson and X Japan have in store for this weekend's festivalgoers in Indio, California.
