Code Orange bassist leaves tour due to injury

Code Orange‘s bassist, Joe Goldman, is leaving the band’s current headlining tour due to an injury.

Code Orange are currently on the final dates of The New Reality Tour featuring Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Show Me The Body, Ghostemane, Nicole Dollanganger, Disembodied and Trail Of Lies.

The band play tonight, July 11, in Houston, Texas at White Oak Music Hall and on July 13 at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia.

Code Orange shared on Twitter that Goldman “suffered an injury that can’t be played through and needs to go home.”

They continued, explaining that their merch guy would be filling up on bass, so the shows could go on. “We apologize and appreciate him,” the band wrote.

Recently, the hardcore outfit surprised-released a three-song EP The Hurt Will Go On, and slipped fans a little extra treat. After posting a cryptic online puzzle, the band gave many fans a taste of their newest project.

Some solvers were given a USB drive containing the song “The Hunt.” Much to their delight and excitement, they found that Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor did guest vocals on the track.
