Spend 30 hours in a coffin, get $300 at Six Flags

Think you could spend 30 hours trapped inside a coffin? You could win $300 for the creepily confined feat this Halloween at Six Flags St. Louis. It’s part of the amusement park’s “Fright Fest” for the fall season, as reported by KABC-TV.

That’s right, the 30-hour “Coffin Challenge” will see six people picked to attempt the big sleep for a whopping three bills. The chosen ones must stay contained within a 2-by-7 foot casket from 1 p.m. on Oct. 13 until 7 p.m. on Oct 14.

Do you have what it takes to tackle this cramped contest? You’ll get one bathroom break per hour, plus free meals. (!) Phones are allowed inside the coffin, and chargers will be provided. We can only hope the afterlife is so cushy!

Those who complete the full 30-hour dirt nap take home the aforementioned grand prize of $300 American. Other prizes include season passes to the park, a grip of “Fright Fest” prize packages and even the damn coffin itself.

“If you think you can spend 30 hours in a coffin,” reads St. Louis Six Flags’ ominous invitation, “fill out the registration form and submit it before midnight, October 3.” Sign up here, and sound off in the comments below.
