Prolific prog-rockers Coheed And Cambria are back with their first new music since 2015 album The Color Before The Sun. Check out the band’s expansive new song, the 10-minute rock opus “The Dark Sentencer,” below.

And Coheed And Cambria’s new tune, called a “prog manifesto” in a press release, is tabbed for the band’s upcoming album, their ninth, expected to arrive later this year.

But what can we expect from Coheed And Cambria’s new album?

On Tuesday, Coheed frontman Claudio Sanchez shared the opening paragraphs from his new concept story which will reportedly accompany the upcoming record:

After Coheed And Cambria announced their singing to Roadrunner Records earlier this year, the band released a mysterious teaser video to mark the occasion. Check that out after the band’s upcoming tour dates.
