Confirmed: Brand New will release (final?) album this year

Earlier today, Procrastinate! Music Traitors sent out an email to their mailing list with a cryptic report on this year's upcoming releases. If you read closely, you'll see it: Procrastinate! has confirmed a 2016 record release for Brand New.

Brand New's upcoming record could be their last. At Brand New's Nashville show in 2015, frontman Jesse Lacey gave an intimate speech in which he was quoted as saying “I’m gonna tell you right here and now this isn’t gonna last much longer.”

The format of the release is unconfirmed, as is noted in the email. The email also confirms headlining tour dates through the U.S. (with Modest Mouse) and Canada.
