Stone Sour and Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor says his stance against Donald Trump has caused a dip in his Twitter followers. On the other hand, the musician admits it may just be a recent Twitter change causing the follower downturn.

“I’ve noticed a loss of followers over the last few days,” Taylor tweeted out on Monday. “Maybe it’s my political views catching up [with] me. Maybe it’s this bot test weeding out all the BS. What I DO know is this: anyone who watched this ‘president’ w/ Putin learned the definition of ‘coward.'”

The singer’s referring to a Twitter policy update meant to combat fakes and inspire “confidence in follower counts.” Of course, he’s also referring to our president siding with Vladimir Putin over the U.S. intelligence community in a brazen (but now alarmingly familiar) attempt to normalize treachery.

Taylor’s also nodding to the notion that some major musicians won’t speak out on politics for fear of alienating parts of their fanbase. Thankfully, we have Taylor to talk down mouth-breathing MAGA racists. Sound off in the comments!
