Could Brand New finally be sending out those 'Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me' lyric booklets?
Either this is some crazy, sadistic, elaborate prank, or Brand New have finally sent out those lyric booklets for their seminal album, The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me.
In case you're not familiar, the booklet that actually comes with the physical CD version of The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me doesn't actually contain any lyrics, but rather a handful of seemingly random photos and phrases. Near the end of the pamphlet, however, there is a sentence that contains an address, which reads: “Please send $1 to *address* for a complete copy of the lyrics.”
While many dollar bills were undoubtedly mailed out, no lyric booklets have ever been reported as received.
That is, until now. (Maybe.)
Pictures are popping up online of not only the lyric booklets, but “confirmation” of those beloved Brand New demos from 2005 finally being released and a dollar bill. Nice touch, right?
