Craig Owens comments on Chiodos lineup change
Yesterday, we brought you news that longtime Chiodos members Derrick Frost and Matt Goddard had decided to leave the band. (This is Frost’s second departure.) The two will be replaced by Thomas Pridgen (the Mars Volta) on Drums and Joe Troy (RX Bandits) on Bass. After the lineup change, frontman Craig Owens shared his thoughts on Twitter, saying, “Where you see a problem, I see an opportunity.” Check out what Owens had to say below, and let us know your thoughts.
Where you see a problem, I see an opportunity. I'll find a way to clearly articulate myself soon. Either way.. this next tour is gonna rule.

It's also crazy how press outlets can control the way a situation comes across. Some want to cause damage & some want to create excitement..

It's typically related to their relationship w/ the artist. I hope that all of you out there can see through that & create your own opinion.

When all is said & done though.. All I really wanna do is make music that I love, with my friends… For the people that care.

Chiodos released Devil, their fourth full-length, earlier this year on Razor & Tie. You can catch the band on tour with A Day To Remember and Bring Me The Horizon this fall. Watch their latest video for “3 AM.”
