Creed frontman reportedly placed in psych hold earlier this month

More details are continuing to emerge on Creed frontman Scott Stapp's current situation, as TMZ just ran an exclusive report saying that the vocalist was placed under a 72-hour psych hold earlier this month after police found him the side of the road in Florida babbling about how someone was attempting to poison him.

The report goes on to divulge comments from Stapp's wife, Jaclyn Stapp, who says he has threatened to kill both himself and his Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, believes ISIS is after his son, hears voices in his head and has visions of people on fire. She goes on to state that Scott has even gone as far as leaving a message with the Dean of his son's school on November 10, claiming that the education facility would soon become a target of ISIS.

Despite claiming his sobriety and lack of drug use earlier this week, TMZ's report says otherwise. Jaclyn affirmed that his rash behavior is due him traveling on a “potentially fatal drug binge,” which includes abusing substances such as steroids, weed, cocaine, crystal meth and various Rx drugs, among others.

A recent report from the Miami Herald reinforces TMZ's piece:

“She says he disappeared from their home in early October and hasn’t been telling her where he is. The paperwork shows she asserts Stapp has been doing so much amphetamines, crystal meth and steroids that he has become a paranoid shell who has threatened to kill himself and harm his family.”

Earlier this week Stapp posted a video revealing that he's completely broke, was living in his truck and is now living in a Holiday Inn. Watch it below and let us know your thoughts.
