Creeper members are teasing fans with cryptic, paranormal videos
Last November, Creeper played a sold out show at London’s KOKO venue and appeared to announce their breakup onstage during the gig.
Now, it seems like the band might be teasing some new music after all the confusion.

To backtrack, the band performed on the KOKO stage and at some point during the set, frontman William Gould made the announcement that it would be their last.
“Of all the shows we’ve played in this last four years, this one will remain with us the longest,” he says. “Because not only is it the last show of this album, but it’s the last show that we’ll ever do”

At the end of their set, each member removed their iconic Callous Heart jackets and placed them in a pile on the stage.

When they officially left the stage, their backdrop read “Even eternity ends.”

Now, the members are making cryptic posts on social media that sound downright spooky.

It started when Gould deleted his entire Instagram feed and posted a story of a static screen and a distorted voicemail.

Luckily, fans have listened to the voicemail careful and attempted to transcribe it.
Okay, transcribing has never been my thing. But how am I doing #creeper fans? I’m sure someone has a better version! pic.twitter.com/ET3yofRsEN

The most interesting line that the voice appears to say that “in 7 days, the world as you know it will end.” This has us hoping that the band makes some kind of big reveal in the near future.
Aside from Gould, the other band members have also taken to posting some cryptic videos. Guitarist Oliver Burdett posted a creepy video of his TV while he was watching The Simpsons. It goes completely static and, in the end, the shadow of an ominous figure appears that gives us Paranormal Activity vibes. You can see a recording of his story below.

Bassist Sean Scott also posted a video of him appearing to be followed home by a strange UFO-looking object. In a later video, he opens his window to see a terrifying figure outside his window. Check out those posts below.

While it could be possible that the members of Creeper are all getting haunted, it seems more likely that this mens something big is happening soon. Whether it be a reunion, new music or something completely different, we can’t wait to figure out what all of this means sometime soon.
Creeper put out a handful of EPs, and one studio album, Eternity, In Your Arms, was released in 2017. The full-length debut came with a backstory as the band ventured down the elaborate road of a concept album. The result was a spooky Peter Pan-inspired saga that narrates the story of missing paranormal investigator James Scythe. The band also released a novel component titled The Last Days Of James Scythe.
